Purpose Statement of Calvary Hill Baptist Church

Being led by the Spirit of Almighty God, to confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and being baptized into the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We the people of Calvary Hill Baptist Church purpose together:

• To faithfully worship Almighty God, to gratefully receive and share in the nourishment of the Lord's Supper, to study the Holy Scriptures, to pray for and with one another, to enjoy fellowship with every person, and to seek the lost and proclaim the Gospel for His name's sake.
  
  
• To love God with all our heart, mind. soul and strength, to love our neighbor as ourselves.
  
  
• To live in Christian holiness, humbly repenting of our sins, resisting evil, and striving earnestly for peace, purity, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control.
  
  
• To bear one another's burdens, comfort one another in sorrow, and share in one another's joy.
  
  
• To give cheerfully of our time, talents, and monies to the work of the church, the relief of the poor, and the extension of God's Kingdom throughout the world.
  
  
• To seek God's help in all things that we may be worthy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ until the last day.
